Member registration

How to register on qwetru.com and what members of each level can do.

You can read the site without registering. Only registered members can post in discussions, ask questions and message other members. To keep bots and trolls out, an administrator reviews every new profile.

How to register

  1. Fill in the sign-up form: a username (Latin letters and digits), your e-mail and a password of at least 8 characters.
  2. Confirm your e-mail using the link in the message within one hour — otherwise the registration is deleted.
  3. Fill in your profile in your account — only the first name is required.
  4. Wait until an administrator activates your profile: you will get an e-mail.

Member levels

  • Candidate. The profile is filled in and awaits review. You can edit your profile and write to the site administration.
  • Newcomer. The profile is active and you get a public member page. Comments and questions for “Questions and answers” are published after a moderator reviews them. You can delete a published message within 5 minutes but cannot edit it. You can message other members.
  • Reader. Everything a Newcomer can do, plus choosing your own nickname (Newcomers get one automatically, like user123). You can edit or delete a published message within 5 minutes.
  • Veteran. Messages are published immediately, without review. You can start new discussion threads.
  • Editor. Everything a Veteran can do, plus moderating the site’s discussions: publishing or rejecting members’ messages, threads and questions, and answering questions.

The level is assigned by an administrator. Your member page shows your nickname, level, city and “About”; your name, surname and e-mail are not shown. An administrator may block a member who breaks the rules: a blocked member can sign in and edit the profile but cannot post.

Community rules

  1. Stay on topic and be respectful.
  2. Do not post advertising, links to other sites or other people’s personal data.
  3. The administrator may edit or delete messages that break the rules.
